POWER ENGINEERING FOR INDUSTRY MINING INDUSTRY EXPO OILGASEXPO Among the most important strategic projects is connecting the second unit of the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant to the European grid ENTSO-E within the project “Energy Bridge “Ukraine — European Union”. One of the most promising stages of providing the synchronous operation of UPS of Ukraine and ENTSO-E is connecting unit 2 of the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant to the European grid via the existing 750 kV lines “Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant – Rzeszow” and “Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant — Western-Ukrainian”. Electricity exports is seen as a source of additional investments that will be involved for the construction of units 3 and 4 of the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant.
