I have spent a lot of time negotiating the business side of music in Barbados and I think it is time to explore my abilities as an artist. Barbados has offered much to me, but I think it is time to look beyond my backyard, where it is safe, comfortable. 1.) A friend asked me to pick up guitar to help him secure a performance, I had slight history with music but never the in- strument really. I thought it would be fun; also one of my best friends at the time. 3.) What are some of the best things that you have learned being an entrepreneur in Barbados? Learning to utilize the resources available as efficient- ly as possible. Having the ability to negotiate most aspects of the business arena easily once you understand how the “professional social network” in the entertainment diaspora operates. It is basically high school, just with contracts and lots of meetings. 4.) What in your opinion are some of the main differences between Millennials and previous generations as it relates to doing business?
