When and why did you start The
Workspace for Children? I started The
Workspace for Children six years ago in my
basement art studio, where I offered process
art and play experiences for children and their
grown-ups. The physical workspace studio no
longer exists, but through the years, The
Workspace for Children has changed forms
and grown organically with me and my family.
Currently, The Workspace for Children is a
blog and Instagram account, serving more
than 66,000 people by providing inspiration
for living a play-based lifestyle, as well as
information about child development,
parenting and the power of play. In 2019, I
wrote my first E-Book, Your Guide to Quiet
Time and Independent Play and it has had
more than 1,200 downloads. Stay tuned for
more digital products from The Workspace
for Children in 2020.
How often do you post on your blog and
Instagram? Do you have a set schedule?
My Instagram community is a large part of the
Favorite follows: I love accounts that
inspire me and teach me new things.
