Ask aroomful of empty-nesters if they have thought about downsizing and chances are they will answer that they thinkabout it all the time.“ Should weorshouldn’ twe? When is the right time: after the kids goto college? When the kids get married? When the first grandchild is born?” And if they’ re going to downsize, they have tofigure out where they’ re going to go. For Haya Taitel and Steve Becker, the answer came 2½ years ago in the form of aluxurious condominium inShort Hills, barely amile from their house on the other side of town. Sometimes the stars do indeed align.
