Dentists were asked to nominate one or more colleagues ( excluding themselves ) they would choose if they needed dental care . The Super Dentists research team reviewed the prospective candidates further on the indicators ofpeer recognition , professional status and disciplinary history .
Nominees with the highest scores were invited to serve on ablue- ribbon panel that reviewed and scored the candidates .
Finally , dentists who acquired the highest total points from the surveys , research and blue-ribbon panel review were selected for inclusion in Millburn & Short Hills Magazine ’ s Top Dentists .
