In the last six weeks, we have made many small improvements around the club and will continue to do so both behind the scenes and with the overall member experience. We appreciate the feedback we received from our recent member survey and will soon be communicating many of the changes that will be taking place in 2014. Chef Joe has put together a new appetizer and dinner menu that was introduced on November 20th and will be followed by a new luncheon menu after the first of the year. Come out and enjoy some of the new creations that have been put together for your tasting pleasure. Don’t forget about our upcoming Holiday events! Santa Brunch will take place on Sunday, December 8, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Bring the kids and grandkids out to meet Santa. Chef Joe has put together a wonderful holiday buffet menu for all to come and enjoy. We will also be hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner. Please call the club to book your reservations early. I would like to thank everyone for all of the positive feedback and good wishes I have received as I take on my new role as General Manager. Please feel free to let me know any comments, suggestions or concerns that I can do to make Mill Creek Country Club even better. Pars & Birdies, Cory House Committee Update SEASON GREETINGS TO ALL! The “jolly happy” time of the year is fast approaching. By the time you read this newsletter the Club and the Pro Shop will be decorated for the Holiday Season. We would like to thank our members who volunteer to decorate the trees and hang the wreaths to make Mill Creek the place for holiday entertaining. In between shopping sprees stop by the club – it will put you in the holiday mood. The Santa Brunch is always a great event so don’t forget to make your reservations. Be sure to check out the Pro Shop for great merchandise for golfers on your gift list. The House Committee has several dedicated club members - Candie Lambert, Tim Shelton, Julie Jacobson and Joe Upton. Regrettably, Julie Waxham is leaving our committee. We would like to thank her for all she has done over the years which included planting flowers, pulling weeds, decorating and all the extraordinary things she did with a paint brush.
