Women’s Golf Events

Welcome ladies! Seems like we wait so long for the rain to let up and the sun to shine…finally, we are
there. As we begin 2014, I invite you to join us every Tuesday for some fantastic events as well as our
tournaments – see event listing for additional information.
Several things to remember: Be sure to frequently check the sign-up sheets in the Ladies Locker Room
and at the Pro Shop desk. We don’t want you to miss an event. Also, continue to work on pace of play so
that other golfers are not held up. Review the Rules of Golf and ask the Pro Shop if you have questions.
Welcome new golfers and volunteer to help on our committees and teams. We need you all!
To all women who can’t play on Tuesday but would like to join a fun group of Ladies on Saturday,
contact Judy Weitz for more information at 206-940-4090. I look forward to playing with you. It is an

CAPTAIN’S CHARITY
Tuesday, June 24
This year’s tournament is open to both members and non-members and will benefit “Cocoon House”
in the Everett area. “Cocoon House” is a safe place for homeless teenagers. It provides warm food,
housing for up to 100 teens, counseling and much more in an alcohol and drug free environment.
The fundraiser for the Captain’s Charity will be a raffle. Many raffle items (tax deductible) are needed
to make this a successful and rewarding event. If you have questions or can donate a raffle item, please
contact Patrice Martel.

MEN’S GOLF news

Gentlemen,

We will be offering online event registration through the Club’s website, www.millcreek.cc. All of our
events and their details will be listed under the golf events section of the website. At the conclusion of
each event the results will also be uploaded to the website for you to review.
To register for an event log into the website using your username and password, navigate to the golf
events, click on the event you want to register for; an e-mail will be sent to the pro shop and you will be
registered for the event. Next to each event on the events page you will also find links to the players list
(updated with the registered players) and the results. We hope that this will make it more convenient
for you to register for events and find information regarding each event this season.
We look forward to a great golf season. If there is anything we can do to make your golf experience at
the club better, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Committee.
