Warmer weather is on its way and golf season is underway. Mill Creek Country Club has unveiled a new
membership referral program that is designed to increase our membership and for you to be rewarded
for bringing your friends and family to the Club.
Your support of YOUR Golf Shop is always appreciated. Keep in mind that you as members own the
Golf Shop. If you see a price at another golf shop or store please let us know and we will do our best
to meet or beat that price. New merchandise continues to arrive on a daily basis. We have new arrivals
from Adidas, Cutter & Buck, FootJoy, and Nike. Please stop in the Golf Shop for the latest in apparel and
equipment. The Golf Shop is stocked with the latest in new technology from PING, Nike, TaylorMade,
Callaway, Titliest and Tour Edge. Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 26, as we will have a Demo Day
from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Callaway, Nike and Tour Edge are currently scheduled to participate.

MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The golf season is fast approaching and hopefully
the good weather will come along with it.
Sequoia recently hired Scott Anderson as our
new Membership Director. Scott’s focus will be to
market and sell Equity Memberships at the Club.
He will do everything he can to expose MCCC to
the community but will need your assistance with
referrals. Be sure to take advantage of our current
referral program (found on page 4)!
We recently sent amendments to the Terms and
Conditions for both Charter Equity Members and
Premier Members. This amendment is used so we
can modify the “Two Sale Rule.” This will allow the
club to sell new Equity memberships for $3,000 to
$5,000, selling as many new equity memberships
as needed to collect the amount required to pay off
the next member on the sale list. We have received
100 or more signed amendments back – be sure to
send yours in if you haven’t done so already.
So far we have eight Charter Equity Plus members
who have signed extensions and we have four
who have verbally committed to extending their
membership. We are now offering new $100,000
Equity Plus memberships. We had a presentation
on February 12 and so far we have two interested
parties who have signed letters of intent and given
us a deposit. We have other members that we are
talking to as well that have shown interest and
Sequoia is also marketing that membership to new
members.
The Tennis Club has exercised their option to
purchase their building at $1,550,000. The escrow
should close in late summer. As part of the escrow,
we will have to do a lot split which will require
us to separate the utilities and relocate our carts
that are being charged up against the tennis club
building. The attorneys are currently working on
this agreement.
We are working on some other things that I hope
to announce in our next newsletter. Until then enjoy
your time at the Club.
Sincerely,
- Bart Pitzer, President Board of Directors

Green Committee Updates
Please Replace or Sand Your Divots
Cart Path Repairs Planned
We have noticed an alarming increase in the
number of unattended divots. We normally
advocate filling divots with sand during the
dry seasons, but it is the time of year when
you can replace the divot, stomp it firmly into
the ground and put sand on top where necessary. Do not put sand between bare ground
and the divot as the fix won’t take. Please
make sure that when you sand a divot, it is
level with the ground. Mounds of sand ruin
fairway mower blades.
In late April, remaining funds in the course
improvement fund will be used to remove
some of the worst bumps and potholes on
our cart paths. The green committee has
evaluated the cart paths and identified areas
that warrant immediate attention on numbers
1, 5, 7, 10, 11, 15 and 18. Once these repair ́
