SERVICE MISSION
The Military & Veterans Service Centers ( MVSC ) at EFSC were created as a onestop-shop to assist veteran students transitioning from military life to student life . The Centers support veterans and their families by promoting community awareness , providing academic program information , benefit and education counseling , referral to essential agencies , and certifying eligible students to receive educational benefits .
Eastern Florida State College Military & Veterans Services is dedicated to serving those who served .
Our Military & Veterans Services ( MVS ) team consists of the Military & Veterans Service Centers offices and Veterans Hubs , as well as our MVS Coordinator , Services Officers / Advisors , and VA Work Study students .
The Military & Veterans Service Centers provide a place for students to find resources on VA educational benefits , academic advising and assistance with course registration , employment opportunities , computer area , student lounge , various Meet & Greet opportunities with VA community resources and employers , and workshops . The MVS also provides additional information and resources related to Veteran benefits and other local community resources . The Veterans Hub is a sanctuary for you and your family , providing a welcoming , safe , and supportive environment which is dedicated to providing the very best assistance available . We are a designated Fire Watch Safe Place .
