GI Bill ® Statement of Benefits or Certificate of Eligibility ( COE ) https :// www . va . gov / education / gi-bill / post-9- 11 / ch-33-benefit / The Statement of Benefits or Certificate of Eligibility ( Award Letter ) provides information on the benefits you are entitled to for an approved program , your remaining benefits ( months and days ), time limit for using benefits , and percentage of benefits you are entitled to receive . https :// benefits . va . gov / gibill / understandingyourcoe . asp You should receive your Certificate of Eligibility approximately four to six weeks after you have applied for your educational benefits .
Please provide a copy of your Statement of Benefits or Certificated of Eligibility after you have registered for classes and are submitting your Certification Request paperwork .
Federal VA Educational Benefits
Chapter 33 Post 9 / 11 GI Bill ® https :// www . va . gov / education / about-gi-bill-benefits / post-9-11 / Available to eligible Veterans and Servicepersons with at least 90 days of active-duty service after 9 / 10 / 2001 , or 30 days of discharged with a service-connected disability . Tuition and fees are paid directly to EFSC after the VA has processed the veteran ’ s certification . If the veteran is not eligible at the 100 % Post 9 / 11 rate , they WILL be required to pay their percentage up front or make payment arrangements in order to avoid being dropped from their courses .
