• Some of Dave’ s inspiration for the Chowder House building renovations as well as the Boardwalk Gazebo Bar was the Chatham Bars Inn in Massachusetts. He’ s also a huge Disney World fan and appreciates the attention to detail and innovation that each amusement park showcases, hence the particular look and feel of each brick-and-mortar restaurant he has custom-designed.
• Iggy’ s is known for its community involvement including partnering with Plates with Purpose to provide meals for individuals and families impacted by food insecurity and donating clam cakes and chowder to many Children’ s Wishes events. Several other local charities and organizations receive Iggy’ s gift cards and Rhode Island-themed gift baskets as in-kind donations year after year.
• On a busy summer day, the Iggy’ s Warwick locations serve an average of 400 dozen clam cakes and 300 dozen doughboys. Which means every hour a fresh dough is being made, proofed and cut to order and a fresh clam batter being hand-mixed every twenty minutes.
2017
Iggy’ s Boardwalk hosts its first full-service wedding as a venue and caterer, marking it the perfect waterfront destination to host your special event.
2021
Iggy’ s establishes a franchisee partnership with another Rhode Island iconic brand, Del’ s Lemonade, and purchases the Oakland Beach, Warwick, territory.
2023
After years of planning and custom building the Iggy’ s Food Truck finally makes its debut.

Iggy’ s partners with Goldbelly to ship their staple items NATIONWIDE and have since shipped to every state in the U. S. and Canada.

After a successful gluten-free collaboration, each chowder recipe( red, white and clear) was modified and they are now only made with rice flour at all of our locations.
