I: What were your thoughts on Egues’ harsh rules on marriage for Hermia?

H: I thought it was reasonable because it is an ancient Athenian law but at the same time I felt kind of bad for Hermia because she is madly in love with Lysander and someone telling you that you can’t marry the one you truly love must be devastating.

I: What are your thoughts on the big wedding the Duke hosted?

H: I think it was amazing! I felt like a princess and it was to good to be true. I was about to marry the love of my life and I shared a wedding with the Duke and my best friend.

I: Did you enjoy the entertainment provided by those six craftsmen?

H: At first I was very unsure about it because Philostrate thought that the performance wasn’t very good, but once they began the play I started to enjoy it. They poked fun at the tragic story of Pyramus and Thisbe. Also, Demetruis, Lysander and Theseus made fun of the performers which made it more enjoyable.

I: We have recently heard of fairy sightings around Athens. Do believe in this non-sense? If yes, why?

H: I don’t beleive in fairies but speaking of fairies, a day before the wedding I had this crazy dream that fairies had made Demetrius and I fall in love with this love potion. But I won’t get into too much detail with that because fairies don’t exist.

I: Okay well that’s all the questions we have for you! Thank you for allowing us to interview you!

H: Anytime!
