fusion has brought a new style named national neoclassicism. The
celebrated Armenian architect Alexander Tamanian was the creator of
this style, whose ideas became a guideline for the whole generation of
architects.
In her article, the author attempts to show reflection of the
distinctive features of the Armenian medieval architecture (such as
idea, expressiveness, decorative solutions, etc.) in the Armenian Soviet
architecture.
