• Investor state arbitration — the first foreign direct investor in post-Saddam Hussein Iraq , in a $ 1 billion ICSID arbitration against the Republic of Iraq in relation to the seizure of cement and pipe plants
• Independent energy company — providing strategic advice on the implications of a recent decision of the Supreme Court of Iraq in respect of oil and gas assets in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq
