6. Sports...but with head.

Many people use their free time during the vacations to practice their favorite sports, but when it’s hot it’s better to reduce the physical activity and avoid the practice of sports outdoors in the central hours of the day.

7. Use your dressing to fight the heat.

Use light, wide clothes made of breathable fabrics. Choose comfortable footwear that allow your feet to breath.

8. Watch out in the car.

Try to keep a good fresh temperature inside the car since the excessive heat can cause drowsiness. Take special care of the children, major or sick, and the pets: a heat blow can be fatal.

9. Always keep a first aid kit with you.

Keep your medicines in a fresh place, so the heat doesn’t affect them. Though many can support high temperatures, other medicaments are especially sensitive to high temperature. Read the prospect to find out of how to preserve them.

10. If you need it, go see a doctor.

If the symptoms caused by the high temperatures last more than one hour, it’s time to go see the doctor. Every summer, the Ministry of Health Social Services and Equality throws a campaign in which explain the general advises to face dangerous waves of heat. This also includes a daily map that analyze the risk by province: it is a good idea to consult it. It worth it!!
