The director Turner is very clever, he had a big heart and he is humble, because he always tried to understand his students to help them in everything they need. At the beginning of the movie he refused to follow Mr. Clark rules because he was used to use other rules, but them he understood that Mr. Clark methods were the best for his students.
The motivations of the director Turner were his students and the entire school, he wanted the parents and their sons trust on him and the school, also the other motivation he had was to change the mentality of the students.
