Shameika Wallace
Shameika was a girl that didn’t believe in herself, because she thought that the only good thing she was doing was taking care about her brothers, her aspirations at the beginning of the movie were very few, but during the film these aspirations changed because with the help of Mr Clark, she started to believe in herself and because of that she achieved the best English and Maths scores in the state exam. Shameika was very brave because she put away her school work to help her mom.

, she used to have a bad behavior with Mr Clark at the beginning of the movie, but when she realized that she have a lot of potential and thought about her motivations that were her family and her dreams she started to did her best in everything
