So, what is Oak on the Green’s philosophy which makes it so popular with all? We spoke to Blake Hegarty who runs the restaurant day to day. He has been part of the Oak on the Green for 5 and a half years, and says their main goal is to make sure people enjoyed their experience and leave happy. He instils an ethos of teamwork, proper training and motivation amongst all staff, so that they are all happy too – this shows in the brilliant service. Blake himself says he thrives on being busy and wakes up each day thinking it will be positive. He has been in the business since he was young and learned that this was the best way to succeed. We can all take a lesson from this – if we wake up thinking the day will be great – it will be! Feed out into the universe, into yourself or to another higher power and your life will be what you want it to be. Focus on all that is great – surely that is the only way to be? Oak on the Green’s “happy” philosophy is driven by their passionate staff and ensures a fantastic experience each time you arrive. They also have a few other restaurants under their umbrella, not least the Fish on the Green (just next door) due to their success. Give them a try – just make sure you book before you go and wear something with an elastic waistband! www.oakonthegreen.com Heavenly Fitness Studios in Maidstone Book now for a New You this New Year!
