With dark clouds rolling in and threatening rain, the third quarter opened with two points by Joel Ingebrigtson. With the Heavyweights scrambling to put more points on the board, Trinity's Ivan Baker managed to clear the ball to Justin "Pinball" McCauley through a swarm of desperation in front of the goal. With several missed shots, Joel Ingebrigtson eventually put three more points on the board for Silver Spring House. Mike Hoffmann of Silver Spring House got some good catches that prevented the Rebels from scoring more than a point. As the whistle blew for water, the score was tied 1-7 (10) to 1-7 (10). With a tied score, both teams came roaring into the fourth quarter. Unfortunately for the Rebels, Silver Spring House took the lead with an early goal. Silver Spring House remained dominant, with Joel Ingebrigtson putting up several points for his team. But the Trinity defense was not giving up, fighting hard until Nick “Tater” Ruetz put another goal on the board. The final score was Silver Spring House 3-12 (21), Rebels 2-7 (13).
