Julius M. Kleiner Park - Water pad (seen on the left) has over a dozen self operated water features. Nearby, there is a lake for fishing (they even rent fishing poles for the day) and plenty of picnic spaces under the shade. (1900 N Records Ave, Meridian, ID 83642)
Boise River! - we recommend starting at Barber Park, where they have air pumps. Such a popular past time from young to old here in Boise. Epley's rents rafts and inner tubes and there are shuttle buses.

Outlet Fireworks at Midland and Roosevelt in Nampa - owned for years by a husband and wife (didn't want named) and contracted to families to operate. Open daily from now until the 4th.
Fat City Fireworks at 36th and State Street is run by a family that has been in the business for the past 24 years. Inexpensive and you'll even be by their dalmation named "Spot"
