Alongside academic subjects , children will have an opportunity to take part in a variety of team and individual sports using Birkenhead School ’ s sporting facilities and also have sessions on preparation for interviews and public speaking . Lessons will be led by teachers from the school , supported by Sixth Form pupils , who will act as mentors for the younger children academically , as well as offering advice on aspiration , university and confidence .
