Clea attributes the terrarium craze to the low maintenace indoor plant option for any dwelling inhabitor. City apartments, smaller spaces and spending less time outside also seem to play a part in what Clea believes is an alternative for a society that is increasingly becoming removed from nature. "I think people are enjoying the benefits from having plants inside as a mood booster".

The Miniscapes studio is an inspiring collaboration of designers, working with mediums ranging from paper, leather, textiles and ceramics. A huge open plan warehouse, natural light pouring in through its windows is where Clea and her team propagate the very plants that transform into little pieces of interior show pieces. Clea often draws inspiration from elements such as interesting rock formations, forgotten urban spaces taken over by flora and tiny figurines with a story to tell.

-Clea revealed to us that in the near future, Miniscapes will take the terrarium to new heights with the incorporation of concrete vessels. Quite frankly we can't wait to get our adoring hands on one!
