Changes to AGM and MeMO Conferences
Over the years, MER continues to seek, encourage and support newcomers to take on roles in the
Technical Program in an effort to increase the pool of Speakers, Sessions Chairs, Stream Chairs
and even Technical Program Directors. The pool of volunteers continues to grow.
After every conference there is normally a debriefing of the Organizing and Technical Program
Committees, other key participants and attendees’ comments. This is a very valuable ongoing
activity in order to identify best practices and challenges to continuously improve and provide
cost‐effective, best in class conferences and Technical Programs. Also, there are currently two
ongoing CIM initiatives with the participation of MER and other groups focused on
improvements and planning of conferences and the technical programs:
1. Technical Program Development
2. MeMO 10 Year Plan

Toolkit” Eblast emails. The initial results indicate the Eblast newsletter reached 1,667 subscribers
and the open rate was about 24% or 400 subscribers. Work continues to explore and develop
further capabilities for the CIM‐MER interfaces.
Member of this Taskforce are: Rahul Lakhote, Marcel Djivre, Brad Kingston, Dominique Privé and
