Ingredients
Two litres of Dorset Orchards First Press Cider Half a teaspoon of cloves Three star anise One cinnamon stick , roughly broken up Half a vanilla pod ( sliced down the middle ) One teaspoon of all spice berries The peel of two oranges The peel of one lemon Add brown sugar last to taste ( around five tablespoons ) Optional : add 150ml Pussers Gunpowder Strength Rum
Method
Add all the ingredients to a pan on a low heat stirring regularly for at least 15 minutes . Strain before serving in a heatproof mug . Garnish with a slice of apple . www . menu-dorset . co . uk
