WASH AND GO
This is the place to pick up fresh Red Ruby Devon
beef, lamb, pork, and fruit and veg. If it's not from the
farm itself, it’s from Dorset and the South West.
The Taste of the West gold medal-winning farm shop
stocks more than a hundred local suppliers, including
wines from Furleigh Estate, Moores Biscuits, Burts
Chips, Woolsery Cheese, and Dorsetshire Sauce.
You can also stay for lunch or afternoon tea at The
Farmer’s Kitchen, or pitch at the caravan site and try
your hand fishing for carp at the farm's three lakes.

BUY THE FARM
BIG CHEESES
The assembly of baskets, pottery, kindling and animal
feed might mark this out as an all-purpose rural store,
but the focus is firmly on artisanal and wisely chosen
produce. There's Bunnies Love Preserves, beer from Art
Brew, fresh fruit and veg courtesy of Marshwood Vale,
and meats provided by a range of local
producers including Wyld Meadow Farm, Five Penny
Farm and Manor Court Farm.
There's award-winning coffee, hot chocolate and cold
meats here, but Turnbulls is a monument to cheese.
Owner Charlie Turnbull is a judge for the World Cheese
Awards and board-member for the Guild of Fine Food.
Enter cheese heaven, therefore, with a dizzying choice
of cheeses, including Montgomery’s, Keen's, Quicke’s,
and Dorset Blue Vinny. The bistro serves Welsh rarebit or
fondue for great cheese in context.
