Let’s see which one you are: Ÿ Dan, inverted triangle body shape Ÿ Josh, rectangle body shape Ÿ Ben, oval body shape Ÿ Tyler, trapezoid body shape Ÿ Sam, triangle body shape Dan Inverted Triangle Body Shape Josh Rectangle Body Shape Ben Oval Body Shape Like the name suggests, Dan’s body is shaped like an inverted triangle. His body is quite wide through the shoulders and narrow through the hips. Josh is straight up and down and quite thin. His chest and hips are similar in width and usually has trouble gaining muscle. Ben has quite narrow shoulders, yet has a round stomach. This is where a Ben will gain most of his weight. Tyler Trapezoid Body Shape Sam Triangle Body Shape A trapezoid body shape has just enough muscle on his frame without being skinny. His shoulders are broad but in proportion with his body. His hips are slim also. A triangle body shape is larger through the hips and bottom. His shoulders are narrower than his hips. He may appear a bit slope shouldered.
