I swear by my name that you never ever had a real Korean food.
Jeon ju, my home town is famous for gourmet foods and traditional Korean dishes. Every step you make at the street of jeon ju, you can encounter decent restaurants, unrevealed yet but ready to satisfy you with amazing dishes. Especially the famous “Nam-mun market” has a special nick name “grand palace of foods,” based on it’s outstanding varieties and taste it’s of foods. As appears by it’s nick-name, adventurous gourmets can find their desiring hidden treasures there. Other than people of Jeon ju only very few people know what is inside this Palace. The rest of people know only a glimpse of fact that no other cities outmatch Jeon Ju in foods but they don’t know the reason why. This is absolute tragedy, People should know Why Jeon ju and it’s foods are so amazing and that is the reason why my adventure to Jeon ju started.
At the middle of last year’s fall, Jeon ju got bombarded with golden ginkgo leaves, every sight I saw was golden yellow even roads where I stood got colored into ginkgo. Streaming by the “road of ginkgo” located at the han-ok ma-eul(Korean folk village) I encountered parades of Han-ok, Korean traditional houses. They resembled flock of cranes very much, actually their roofs flapped highly toward the sky as if cranes ready to take-off from the ground.
