QA Question Answers Rami's first landed a job in the acting industry as an extra on a series titled “Reflexions of Guilt”, and she only lasted for only one day on set. “I knew immediately that I didn't want to be an extra because I had set goals from a long time ago. I was not acting for fun, it was for life. So I quit after day one.” Which toughest job or project have youever taken on? Being a bartender at Kippies. When I started I knew nothing about liquor and I didn't drink either. But after a few weeks I was a pro! The most difficult and simplest character you have ever portrayed? Although the characters were not easy, I enjoyed being Khomotjo on Muvhango and also being Thato on Scandal! What makes a character easy or difficult to portray? What makes it easy is for one to understand what the character is all about, you create this bubble and how they would see the world and you take it from there. Which movie or drama inspired you to get into film? What is it like for actors to watch projects they acted in? It depends. Sometimes we watch to see how we can improve and sometimes it's for sheer enjoyment which hardly happens. I personally don't have attachment issues, when a project is done, we move to the next. I don't think a baker keeps going back to admire the last cake they baked, instead they start planning for the next one and figuring how to make it tastier and better. Which one do you prefer better between “on screen”and“live stage”? That's two different things. I love stage for the real time effect of it, the rush and adrenaline and of course the screen gives you time to do it again and make it better.
