FSU SeniorHealth™ is dedicated to helping people age well, in addition to managing the care of older adults with chronic conditions. Some of our skilled clinicians focus on health problems such as memory loss, incontinence, medication side effects and fall prevention. Patients are seen in the outpatient clinic, as well as in multiple assisted-living communities and nursing homes in the area. Other clinicians focus on preventative care as we age, providing services in our outpatient clinics and via telehealth. FSU SeniorHealth™ also has a location at Westminster Oaks, 4449 Meandering Way, Tallahassee.

The goal of FSU Health Lipidology™ is to ensure that the lipids in your blood( cholesterol and triglycerides) are where they need to be to reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke. FSU Health Lipidology uses a tailored approach for each patient, provided by a talented team with a wealth of experience in lipidology led by board-certified lipidologist Sudha Ravilla, M. D. New patients are welcome and accepted through physician referrals.

FSU Health Precision Pediatrics™ at the Institute for Pediatric Rare Diseases

FSU Health Precision Pediatrics at IPRD uses a genome-first approach to help identify the underlying cause of children’ s complex medical conditions, including developmental disabilities, to advance a core mission of IPRD. This innovative model will shorten the typical“ diagnostic odyssey” for children with rare genetic diseases and provide parents with useful prognostic information regarding their child’ s expected developmental trajectories, learning needs and potential challenges, future medical risks( co-morbidities), as well as accurate genetic counseling information regarding recurrence risks for families.
FSU Health Precision Pediatrics at IPRD’ s current focus, which is expanding, is common neurodevelopmental disabilities, including global developmental delay, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. In addition, undiagnosed children with complex medical conditions( e. g., birth defects, bone or heart conditions, multiple organ system involvement, etc.) will be seen for genetic testing to help identify the“ root cause” of the child’ s problems.
