Orlando PAs serving the community
Be the Player is an Orlando based organization whose mission is to give access to every student athlete to high-quality sports physicals and medical examinations. Together with PA students from AdventHealth University and the Nova PA Program, over 1000 exams and ECG screenings were administered to student athletes.
Chapman Service Project
John Acosta( M. D. Class of 2027) successfully launched his Chapman Regional Campus Project in partnership with Grace Medical community and the Orange County Fire Department. Acosta’ s project focuses on sourcing tools to support mental health and wellness, to create care packages filled with calming aides, stress relief, immune support, and journaling tools to encourage mental wellness and self-care. Acosta’ s aim was to encourage the first responders to take care of their mental health, which can sometimes be neglected in this population. Acosta delivered one hundred care packages to ten different fire stations.
Chapman Service Project care packages were delivered to the Pride of Parramore Fire Station 2 in Orlando.

Orlando PA Class of 2026, Orlando PA Class of 2026, Kay Quint, PA-C( Class of 2024), and Faculty John Byrnes, PA- C, showed up in force at Boone High School on June 20th for the annual Be the Player event.
