S.&persica!grows!in!the!floodplains!of!the!Caprivi!and!in!the!central!and!western!
parts!of!the!northern!region!!centered!around!25°S!and!17°E!with!some!record!of!
specimens!growing!along!the!Caprivi!Strip!and!closer!to!South!African!border13.!!The!
mustard!bush!occurs!in!dry!riverbeds!and!plains!that!are!sandy!but!can!also!grow!on!
clays!and!rocky!surfaces13.!!!
