In his first year at TCU. Eaton was redshirted in his lone season at Tennessee. Earned three letters at Elkhorn South High School. Ranked by Perfect Game as the No. 121 overall national prospect, the No. 23 outfielder by Perfect Game and a No. 2 in the state of Nebraska. Eaton had an outstanding senior campaign where he earned Omaha World Herald first-team All-Nebraska and first-team Class A all-state honors. He was selected by the Lincoln Journal Star as a first-team Super State and first-team All-State and earned first-team Omaha Metro Conference accolades. Was a Rawlings / ABCA High School Region 5 all-region team selection. Named the Greater Omaha Sports Committee Baseball Outstanding Scholar Athlete of the Year. Selected to play in Collin / Orcutt High School All-Star Game. Helped lead squad to the Nebraska Class A State Tournament. His team finished in the semi-finals and was ranked No. 3. Eaton hit. 342 with 27 RBIs and 21 stolen bases as a senior as he earned honorable mention all-state honors from the Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal. Parents are Dan and Kelli. He has two sisters, Emma and Josie. Grandfather, Rick Watson, is in the Football Hall of Fame at Chadron State College.
