2025 La Crosse Loggers Baseball There’ s No Place Like Copeland

Jack Collins

Catcher | Cal Poly | Ladera Ranch, CA

At Long Beach State in 2024 he appeared in 11 games, starting eight times at catcher where he posted three hits in 21 at-bats. Collins scored six runs and drove in four. He had one double, one triple and charted a. 286 slugging and a. 367 on-base percentage. He also recorded 76 putouts and five assists and did not commit an error. Played one season at Saddleback College in 2023. Collins was second on the team with a. 376 batting average while starting 46 games and finished the year with nine doubles, one triple and two home runs with 30 RBI. He also stole 10 bases on the year and walked 22 times with just 19 strikeouts. Helped lead Saddleback to an Orange Empire Conference championship and 38-13 overall record. A redshirt in 2022. A 2021 graduate of Santa Margarita Catholic HS where he was a four-year varsity letter winner. Hit. 330 as a freshman and then was part of a CIF-SS championship squad in 2019 as a sophomore, hitting. 310. Rebounded from a missed COVID season with a. 330 batting average as a senior with six doubles, two triples, a home run and 13 RBIs, earning first- team All-Trinity League honors. Collins is majoring in business administration.

Ranked as Perfect Game’ s No. 92 overall player and the No. 2 first baseman in the 2024 high school class. Hit. 562 with 14 home runs and 34 RBI in his senior year( 2024) at Ranney High School

Myles Dismute

Pitcher | Long Beach CC | Long Beach, CA
Returning for his second summer in the Loggers pinstripes. In his first summer with the Loggers, Dismute had his best outing in the Great Lakes Divisional Championship game where he held the St. Cloud Rox to just one hit through four innings. Dismute has stepped up as the ace for Long Beach City College posting a 2.34 ERA to date and looks to continue his success into his summer in La Crosse.
