Elected Members What the Student Council does
The student council consists of 4 students per each year group,
two from Maynooth Post Primary and two Maynooth Community
College. In each of the year group, there are two female and two
male representatives. The student council has a meeting
every week to discuss issues that
have been brought forward to the
representatives that week. Anyone
can bring an issue to their
representative.
How are Students Elected
Students nominate themselves at the start of the academic year.
They need two other students to sign off on the nomination. An
election is then held with all the students that were nominated.
The student with the most votes becomes the representative for
their year group

make
our
schools

waste and recycling.
