300 000 children around the world are in child soldiers and 250 million children are in child labour. As you know the world today, is not perfect. Many children are taken away from their families and are forced to do thing that could harm them. Michel Chikwanine is one of millions of people who have suffered because of war. He has seen things that a child should not see. With his horrible past he has taken the courage to speak up. He tells his story as a eyeopening to people who choose to be blind and and not to anything about child being abused or sent to war.
His story, is a story that many have heard by many and been inspired to make a change. He was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and grew up in the midst of the Great War of Africa. When he was a child he was taken from his home and was forced to become a child soldier. At the age of 5 he witness and pulled the trigger of the gun that his own best friend’s life was taken from. When he was 11 years old he left home and traveled to many african countries. Today he is a motivational speaker and has talked to over 100 000 people.
