Science: E2K Experiment

by Liana Goldstein, 6G

The past few weeks in e2k we have been conducting a very interesting (see right).

experiment. What do you think will

happen? The experiment was designed and done by us. The only thing that

we didn't do ourselves was buy the supplies. It felt good "owning" the

experiment. We then had to record the information into a graph. For most

of us it was the first time we had full control of something like this. Sheindl Berger said: "It was kind of hard trying to figure out what we had to do, but it was fun to be the scientist." I definitely had a ton of fun!

Student Government Presents at Board Meeting

by Messenger Staff

On Wednesday evening, Debra Schwartzben, Yehuda Davis, Ben Eden and Suzi Dweck presented their ideas for improving the school to the MDS Executive Board. Suggestions like substituting the apple juice in the lunchroom for seltzer, using "green" paper goods and putting in a retractable roof for more indoor exercise were just a few ideas brought to the table. Over the next few months, we hope to work with our student reps to help make some of these dreams become a reality.
