If the Earth Could Speak....
By Ms Natthanitch Smittachartch, M6/3
If the earth could speak, it would tell us to stop polluting the air, water, and soil. It would tell
us to stop cutting down trees and start planting more trees. The earth would tell us that the world is
now in danger and people need to do something or else there will be no place for humans to live.
Almost all pollution is made by human beings. There are lots of factories built all over the world.
These factories are the main cause of air pollution. Cars also pollute the air. People nowadays travel by
car and most of them are not aware that they are polluting the air. They might think that they only
use their own car and it would not affect the environment very much. But if a million people think
like that, it wil surely damage the earth. The water and the soil can also be polluted. Contaminated
water from houses and other places can pollute the water and the soil. Also, chemical fertilizers are
often added to the soil to improve the plants they are growing. But when there is too much fertilizer,
it wil poison the soil.
