Milena Kalaacunn, CEO at Hubmedia, editor

She was only 26 when she became an editor-in-chief of the Slovenian public
broadcaster’s Multimedia Centre of RTV Slovenia where her role was taking care of
development, digital contents and coordination of work of 50 people. In 2007 she
joined Styria media group, one of the leading media groups in Austria, Croatia and
Slovenia that is also present in Italy and Germany. Responsible for launching the web
page of the biggest free daily newspaper in the country Zurnal24, she managed to reach
extreme readership of the printed edition. She topped this achievement with managing
to place the web pagezurnal24.si among five of the most read digital media in the
country. She was also responsible for re-launch of digital edition ofSlovenske novice, the
country’s most read daily newspaper. With attractive and innovative design and
technology she quickly exceeded the expectations and managed to recover the digital
malnutrition of this media brand. She was also responsible for all tablet application
development and content at one of the most important media companies in the
country, Delo, d. d. In the past nine years Milena Kalaacunn has been a digital editor-inchief of three of the largest media brands in the country. She currently works as an
advisor and executive editor at TS media and is the Founder & creative
leader at Hubmedia company. She is also a part of executive committee of MOSS (the
research commissioned by the Slovenian Advertising Chamber) and is a part of the
Council of Members, the decision-making body for the MOSS Project.
