BetterLife Agent Randy Kolarik Honors His Past and Builds For the Future
The Kolarik family has spanned three generations, proving that when you honor where you come from, you can build a future that is stronger, better connected, and more compassionate. For two of BetterLife’ s top agents, Rudy Kolarik and his son Randy, that legacy started at meetings and card tables and now lives on through active involvement with BetterLife member groups, new technology tools for agents, and a strong commitment to serving people well.
Growing Up in a BetterLife Family As a child, Randy did not fully understand that his dad’ s work was in insurance and retirement planning. He knew there were meetings, card games, and a close-knit community that always showed up for one another. Over time, he saw that the real impact of his dad’ s career was measured by the number of scholarships awarded, the families helped in times of need, and the clients who were grateful decades later for the decisions his dad guided them to make. Randy’ s view that work is not about a paycheck but about doing the right thing for people, even when no one is watching.
Serving Members With Heart That perspective still influences Randy’ s view of BetterLife’ s mission today. He believes what sets BetterLife apart is the combination of financial protection and community benefits, grounded in personal relationships rather than impersonal transactions. He still makes house calls, sits at kitchen tables, and listens patiently to a family’ s goals or grief, whether assisting a widower through a death claim or celebrating a scholarship win with proud parents. For Randy, honoring Rudy’ s legacy means living out his dad’ s values of being honest; admitting and fixing mistakes; ensuring people feel seen, not sold; and quietly going the extra mile.
