Dear BetterLife Members,
Spring is a season of renewal. As the days grow longer and communities begin gathering again for events, celebrations, and service projects, we are reminded of something simple but powerful: life is better when we are connected to one another.
At BetterLife, that belief has guided our mission for generations.
Our story began more than 170 years ago when a small group came together with a shared purpose— to support one another, strengthen their communities, and provide security for their families. They believed that by standing together, they could create something stronger than any one person could build alone.
That same spirit continues to define BetterLife today. Across the country, our members bring this mission to life every day. Community groups organize gatherings that bring neighbors together. Volunteers lead service projects that make a real difference in local communities. Members support one another during life’ s most important moments— from celebrations to challenges.
These connections are what make BetterLife unique. In a time when many people feel increasingly disconnected, the relationships built through our organization matter more than ever. They remind us that belonging is not something that happens automatically— it grows when people come together with shared values and a desire to make their communities better.
Over the past year, our BetterLife community has grown even stronger as we welcomed new members and continued building on the legacy that began generations ago. While much has changed since our founding, the heart of our mission remains the same: supporting families, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for people to connect and flourish.
As we move into the summer months, I encourage you to take part in the many events, gatherings, and service opportunities happening across the BetterLife community. Whether you are reconnecting with fellow members, welcoming someone new, or lending a helping hand in your community, your participation helps bring our mission to life.
Thank you for being part of the BetterLife family and for continuing the tradition of community and belonging that has defined our organization for more than a century.
Together, we are building something meaningful— stronger communities, lasting connections, and a better life for all.
