Welcoming Jake Manne to the Team
We are excited to welcome Jake Manne as our new Senior Director of Member and Community Engagement. With a strong background in leadership and community-building, Jake brings valuable experience to BetterLife.
Growing up in the rural apple-farming town of Kent City, MI, Jake developed a deep appreciation for tight-knit communities. He spent 15 years in ministry, leading congregations across the Midwest and managing hundreds of volunteers. Most recently, he served as an Engagement Leader with Thrivent in southern Wisconsin, further honing his skills in fostering membership connections.
Jake believes in empowering local member groups, ensuring they remain the heart of their own communities.“ The members in our communities are the true experts,” he shares.“ My team and I are here to support and enhance the great work they’ re already doing.”
Outside of work, Jake enjoys attending local sports events where he connects with families and supports students.
He and his wife have four teenagers— a 19-year-old son, twin 17-year-old daughters, and a 15-year-old daughter— along with their beloved charcoal Labrador, Linus. Welcome to the team!
