Help put on festival , concerts as part of our organization
We are excited to invite Charbonneau artists and artisans to join us for the 40th annual Arts Festival @ Charbonneau , Oct . 11-13 . The event includes a Fine
MCLAIN Art Gallery , Artist and Artisan Booths , a Student
Art Gallery with student artwork from area high schools and our always popular Silent Auction fundraiser . Artists have the option of exhibiting up to five juried pieces in the Fine Art Gallery , participating in the Packaged Art Store for matted art and cards , or joining artisans in the Booth Show with an 8 ’ x 8 ’ or 8 ’ x 14 ’ booth . We are currently accepting applications through two online programs that make it easy for the artists to apply and for us to manage . Charbonneau artists are especially welcome , but the event is open to anyone who applies to be juried into the show . All details are available on the CAA website at https :// charbonneauarts . org .
Emerging artists , please apply . We are especially pleased to offer an opportunity for Charbonneau ’ s emerging artists to exhibit in the festival ’ s Fine Art Gallery . If you are currently taking art classes here or elsewhere , or have recently been in classes , we welcome your application to exhibit your work . These works will not be juried and will be recognized with signage in a special section of the gallery . This could be your first step in exhibiting and marketing your art . I was a very new beginner when I first exhibited my watercolor paintings at the Charbonneau festival , and it launched a new adventure for me at other festivals . We hope this can do the same for our many talented artists in Charbonneau who want to take a stab at sharing their work . If you are not an artist but enjoy art and the opportunity to support arts programs at area high schools , please consider joining our fun and dedicated group of volunteer leaders on the CAA

Music Stage concerts :
The effort to schedule music concerts here in Charbonneau is a cooperative effort by CCC and CAA . The response from residents has been very complimentary regarding the venue and the many different kinds of music . Residents also voice their appreciation that these concerts are fundraisers for the performing arts programs at Wilsonville and Canby High Schools . Mark your calendar for these exciting fundraising events scheduled for this year ’ s Music Stage .
