YOUNG MEMBERS CORNER
The YM group will continue the long-standing tradition of the monthly HAPPY HOUR . The next upcoming happy hour will be Thursday June 2 nd so mark your calendars . The topic of the evening will be environmental consciousness within civil engineering . As engineers we make decisions every day on where we are designing and planning projects and what type of materials we use . Whether you work in the structural , civil , or environmental world , we all have an impact on the world around us and its our responsibility as engineers to ensure we perform our work in a sustainable manner . Hopefully we can share some ideas about sustainability and bring back new ideas to our respective offices . We hope to see you at the next happy hour !
