What were your first products?
In 2017, we released a series of branded indoor
aeroponics components, including the Smart
Controller, the Root Temperature Control, and the
Aero HP Generator (high-pressure regulator). Later
that year, Bifarm released AeroKit, a partially
assembled aeroponics package. It was the first
smart high-pressure aeroponics system available
on the market for home use. It has since attracted
interest from growers around the world, and people
love the results.
What were some of Bifarm’s initial challenges?
Like most start-ups, name recognition and resources
were two major limiting factors for Bifarm. As the
pioneers in this field, we often found ourselves with the
task of proving both the underlying technologies and
our ability to implement them. To win over skeptical
customers, we have been developing partnerships and
spreading our reach throughout the grow community.
How did you gain market share and recognition?
Most of our fans come through word-of-mouth and
social media, with Instagram being our fastest-growing
community. The photos and videos of our users’ results
have given us credible results to share.
Has your company moved or expanded since
the beginning?
We have expanded and we continue to grow every
day. The company expanded from a research lab to
one with manufacturing capability, and now Bifarm
is a full-service company.
What is your current product line?
Our signature line is a series of thermo-optimized,
high-pressure smart aeroponics systems. Bifarm
Bud, the upcoming modular model, is designed to
grow full-cycle till harvest. The smart technology-
powered system executes customizable grow
plans, documents grow journals and time-lapse
photos, and provides remote access via mobile
devices. It also features hot standby backup
systems for aeroponics, management for power
outages, and self-checkup and alert functions.
