WHAT DID YOUR FATHER TEACH YOU? He taught me that the holistic experience is the golden principle in this work— and that through it, we can bring local and international audiences closer to Arab art. This experience is built upon a journey the viewer undertakes: living the artwork through seeing, touching, and analysis. From this concept grew our collaborative initiatives with local and international museums, as well as the founding of the Dalloul Artist Collective to support artists in building sustainable careers and preserving their cultural legacy.
Our goal is to affirm the place of modern and contemporary Arab art— not merely as heritage, but as a living global language, one that does not need to compete but simply needs to be seen.
HOW DO YOU SEE THE VISUAL ART LANDSCAPE TODAY?
One cannot speak of a single dominant visual art. Every region has its own particularity. In the West, the market tends towards works of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries; Islamic art is prominent in Asia; and the Arab Gulf is seeing growing interest in collecting works tied to its own cultural identity.
AND LEBANON SPECIFICALLY? Lebanon has always been open and pioneering in the field of the visual arts, housing rich collections of Arab artists from across the region— Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Iraq, and others. Certain types of work, such as paintings of nudes, which might provoke surprise and debate elsewhere, have a historical presence in the artistic landscape here, with artists from Lebanon, Sudan, Algeria, Morocco, and other Arab countries.
WHICH MUSEUMS IN THE ARAB WORLD ARE WORTH VISITING?
The region is rich with distinguished institutions: the Louvre Abu Dhabi— a museum that houses both Arab and Western works— and the Sheikh Zayed Museum, also in Abu Dhabi; and Mathaf in Qatar, the only museum in the region that celebrates Arab collections exclusively and with distinction. While the importance of exhibiting international art is clear, it remains essential to give Arab art the greater share of the space, so that the visitor feels this art is speaking to them— in their own language, identity, and history.
Today there are Arab artists contributing to the revival of this art: Ayman Baalbaki from Lebanon, Souad Abdel Rassoul from Egypt, Salah El Mur from Sudan, and Sheikha Al Mazroui from the UAE.

هي القاعدة الذهبية) Holistic experience( علّمني أن التجربة الشاملة في العمل ، ومن خلالها نستطيع تقريب الجمهور المحليّ والأجنبي من الفنّ العربي. وترتكز هذه التجربة علّى رحلة يقوم بها المتلقّي بحيث يعيش العمل الفنّي عبر المشاهدة واللمس والتحليل. ومن هذا المفهوم انطلقت مبادرات التعاون مع متاحف محلّية وعالمية ، إضافة إلى تأسيس“ ملتقى دلّول” لدعم الفنانين في بناء مسارات مستدامة وحفظ إرثهم الثقافي. هدفنا هو ترسيخ

كيف ترى واقع الفنّ التشكيلي اليوم ؟
، لا يمكن الحديث عن فنّ سائد واحد ، فلكلّ منطقة خصوصيّتها. ففي الغرب تميل السوق إلى أعمال القرن العشرين والحاديّ والعشرين ، بينما يبرز الفنّ الإسلامي في آسيا ، ويشهد الخليج اهتمامًا متزايدًا بجمع الأعمال المرتبطة

لبنان كان دائمًا منفتحًا ورياديًا في مجال الفنون التشكيلية ، ويضمّ مجموعات غنية لفنانين عرب من مختلف البلدان( مصر ، فلسطين ، سوريا ، العراق وغيرها.) كما أنّ بعضٍ أنواع الأعمال ، مثل لوحات“ العراة ،” التي قد تُثير التعجُب والجدل في بعضٍ الأماكن ، تجد حضورًا تاريخيًا في المشهد الفني ، مع

تزخر المنطقة بمتاحف متميزة ، مثل“ اللوفر أبو ظبي”- وهو متحف يضمّ
، لوحات فنية عربية وغربية- ، ومتحف“ الشيخ زايد” في أبو ظبي أيًضً ا والمتحف الوطني في قطر ، وهو المتحف الوحيد الذيّ يحتفي في المنطقة بالمقتنيات العربيّة بامتياز. ورغم أهمية عرض الفنّ العالمي ، يبقى من الضروريّ منح الفنّ العربي المساحة الأوسع ، ليشعر الزائر بأنّ هذا الفنّ يخاطبه بلغته وهويّته وتاريخه. ويبرز اليوم فنانون عرب يسهمون في إحياء هذا الفنّ ، مثل أيمن بعلبكي من لبنان ، وسعاد عبد الرسول من مصر ، وصلاح
