A Tapestry of World Music Galitcha (meaning
tapestry) weaves cross-cultural links, presenting
music based on traditional East Indian styles,
meshed with musical influences from around the
world. This world-travelling group offers a unique
combination of voice, percussion, tablas, sax,
flute, and various East Indian drums. Bollywood Dance Learn basic movements
step-by-step from Indian popular culture dance
coming from the musical films of Bollywood
and then get the whole group involved in
dance choreographies. Explore the basics of
Bhangra (folk dance), Dhandia (stick dance)
and the ever popular Bollywood dances.
