Space School and Girls into Physics
Following the significant achievement of Inga Cummins’( 6D1) success last summer in securing a place at the Scottish Space School at the University of Strathclyde and our first successful candidate in years, Dr. Cannon led a trip to the University of Glasgow for their annual Girls into Physics event with a fantastic group of S2 pupils in January. were exceptional from start to finish. They worked collaboratively with each other and pupils from other schools, asked insightful questions, and contributed thoughtful ideas throughout. The girls took part in four sessions: 3D imagery( including creating“ Diva the duck” from Lego), construction and instruction, imaging in healthcare and renewable energy,
