Our S1 / S2 creative writing club went on a trip to Fullarton woods with Miss Audley after they got the results of the latest competition they entered. Sadly, no one won but all the stories were amazing, and everyone got a certificate from Troon rotary club.
On the trip, they wrote about the sights they saw and how nature made them feel. Of course, it was fun, and they played games like hide and seek. It was such a fun experience, and the creative writing club are lucky they got to go.
One of our S1s in the club said " it was a great opportunity to interact with the people in the club and also talk to the teachers. This helped us in English to express our creativity through writing!" It is clear our s1s and s2s enjoyed this trip and are hoping to be able to go on another trip.
Where do you think they will go next?

Congratulations to Callie Alexander and Gregor McNish, whose poems have been selected for publication in the Young Writers“ I Have a Dream” collection. Their work, inspired by ocean conservation through Sea Story, is a fantastic example of creativity with purpose.
