On Wednesday 29th April, they brought all that hard work to Marr College for a full day of science fun. Pupils took part in exciting hands-on experiments, presented their projects to a panel of judges, and enjoyed an inspiring talk from STEM Ambassadors— including two former Marr pupils who shared how science shaped their career journeys.
After a very close competition, Barassie Primary 7A were crowned as the winners Congratulations to them— and a huge well done to every P7 who took part. The creativity, confidence and scientific thinking on display was outstanding. We can’ t wait to welcome you all back to Marr soon!
P7 STEM Day 11th March
P7 pupils from across the Marr cluster came together for an exciting STEM challenge, teaming up to tackle a K’ NEX STEM task that put their teamwork, communication and creativity to the test. Alongside building, each group also crafted their own logo, branding and driver outfit, before confidently presenting their final design to a panel of judges. A brilliant day of imagination, problem-solving and collaboration— well done to every team for bringing such energy and
innovation!
British Science Week
Our pupils completed an action-packed few days of discovery— from meeting stick insects up close to exploring real hearts through dissection. They sparked chemical reactions with combustion and even got their hair standing on end with the Van de Graaff generator. A huge well done to everyone involved. The curiosity and enthusiasm across the school have been incredible— here’ s to inspiring the next generation of scientists!
