Children in Need Christmas Dances
In November Marr College
took part in Children in
Need 2019. Students were
involved in a whole host of
events across the school.
The S6 Leadership group
did a brilliant job of
organising the dress down
day and other events, such
as, bake sales, fancy dress
dodgeball
and
face
painting. In the run up to the
Christmas holiday all year
groups
had
the
opportunity to attend our
traditional Marr College
Christmas dances! The
assembly
hall
was
beautifully decorated to
get everyone in the festive
mood.
Mr
McLaughlin
showed off his DJ skills for
the S1/S2 and S3/4 dances
and the S5/6 dance had a
live band – there was a
fantastic atmosphere in
the hall and we hope that
students who attended
really enjoyed their night.
Many thanks to the staff
and S6 students who
volunteered to give up
their time to support each
of the dances this year.
Well done to all the
students and staff who
contributed – Marr College
managed to raise a
fantastic £913.57 for CIN.
